What is a DAM system?
A Digital Asset Management (DAM) system is a system for the structured management of digital content. In contrast to an image database, whose primary objective is to manage images, the DAM system is able to handle digital content of all kinds. This includes images, graphics, videos, documents, PDFs and music files.
